ZIN is Toledo’s finest special occasion string quartet, providing the highest quality music for discriminating consumers. Violinists David Dyer and Merwin Siu, violist Cheryl Trace and cellist Renee Goubeaux are full-time members of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra, one of the best regional orchestras in the country. Versatility, flexibility, and professionalism are our strengths. This ensemble has extensive experience providing music for weddings, receptions, concerts, private parties and other special occasions.
The members of ZIN have played in Washington’s Kennedy Center, Quebec’s Place des Arts, Cleveland’s Severance Hall, concert halls in Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Spain, and throughout the U.S. We’ve accompanied silent movies, poetry slams, sporting events – heck, we’ve even played on the streets! Most importantly, we have played in almost every venue in this region…from churches to parks, restaurants to hotels, art galleries to private residences. We appear as soloists in front of symphony orchestras…and strolling violinists for receptions. The four members of ZIN can take any moment and turn it into a special event through the power of great music. And yes, we do weddings. We LOVE weddings. The members of ZIN have performed over 1000 of them. And we will work with you to make sure that your wedding is unique and memorable.
